How do I know what size unit I need?

Check out our Size Guide. We typically have at least one of each unit size available, so if you book a unit, and find you need something larger or smaller, just call us and we'll see what we can do to help!

Do I need a lock for my unit?

You receive a lock included in your set up fee. This lock will be on the floor in your unit.

Do I need a Valid ID to rent a Unit?

Yes, you need a valid ID: a state issued ID, driver's license, passport, or military ID

What is a Setup/Lock fee?

This is a fee we collect at the time of signing your lease to cover processing your paperwork in our system. The is a one-time fee. You receive a new disc lock as part of this fee. We want to make sure your items are protected, and disc locks are the best way to protect against theft, so we include it.

Do I need Insurance to store my items?

Keeping your belongings safe is a top priority for us. In case of any unexpected events, it's essential to have storage insurance to secure the value of your belongings. If you already have a homeowners or renters insurance policy that covers self-storage use, you are not obligated to purchase insurance on your storage unit. However, suppose you don't have an existing homeowners or renters insurance policy that provides coverage. In that case, you will need to purchase storage unit insurance while completing your lease to ensure the safety of your stored items. See our Tenant Protection Tab for details.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, we are proudly Veteran Owned, and offer a 5% Military Discount. We also offer a $5 per unit discount for tenants that have multiple units rented with us.

Can I store my motorcycle or car in a storage unit?

Yes, you can store your motorcycle or car in a storage unit.  We offer a variety of sizes.

What can I not store in my storage unit?

For your safety and the safety of others at our facilities, the following are not allowed to be stored:
  • Hazardous or flammable materials and/or liquids
  • Explosives
  • Food
  • Any container that did contain food or perishable items
  • Toxic materials
  • Control substance
  • Dead or living organisms

Are protections taken against pests and rodents?

We take pest control very seriously. Regular spraying occurs as well as poison traps placed around the facility. In addition, we place a small trail of poison pellets in each unit, to control anything that might slip inside. We do everything in our power to make sure your belongings are as pest and rodent-free as possible.

How wide are your drive aisles?

Our Main Drive Aisle, where our RV and Boat Parking, is 55' Wide. Secondary Driveways, around our smaller units, are 30'.

When is my rent due?

Kingdom Storage likes to make it easy for our customers to remember when their rent is due, so we make it the 1st of the month. We offer Recurring Billing, so your card is charged on the 1st of Every Month. Payments not made by the 10th are subject to a late fee. We accept all major forms of payment, as well as ACH.

What’s the process for moving out?

Before moving out, you must provide us with written notice at least 30 days ahead of moving out. You can do this logged in on your profile, or sending a Text or Email. On your scheduled move-out day, make sure your unit is completely empty, your lock has been removed, and text a picture of your unit empty.

What happens if I leave items in my storage unit?

If you forget to remove your belongings from the storage unit after moving out or stopping payment, please get in touch with us to retrieve them. If you fail to retrieve your items in a timely manner, the storage unit may be sold at auction. Please be aware that the account will not be moved out if there are items left behind, and it could continue to accrue storage fees until it is sold at auction. The specific time frame for when past-due accounts are sent to auction may vary depending on the state laws.
